A 1982 graduate of Huntington North High School, Jeff Kyle served as the Huntington Jail Commander for nine years before stepping back into the role of Jail Officer in January of 2020.

During his time at Huntington North, Kyle participated as a member of the Viking golf and basketball teams.

After graduating from Huntington North, he attended Ball State University.

Prior to his employment with the jail, Kyle worked at Model Cleaners and Ashley Furniture.

The son of Sarah and the late Bob Kyle, Jeff is married to Meredith and Kyle and is the father of two children, Price Kyle and Marah Hill.

Drawing on inspiration from his parents who “were very active in our community and taught me to give back in some way”, Kyle has served as President of the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce and coached basketball at both Crestview Middle School and Huntington North.

If fact, if he had a redo button, Kyle would have “gone into teaching and coached basketball until I retire”, giving back even more.

Now living in Bluffton, Indiana Kyle enjoys spending time watching with his family and watching his granddaughter grow up.

He is a frequent visitor to area antique stores, likes to “tinker around in the garage” and has begun honing his woodworking skills.

Somewhat of a sports nut, he’s well known for his infatuation with all things Alabama or as he says, “Roll Tide.”
