Hunter Jones son of Matthew and Julie Jones has signed with Huntington University to further his education and play golf.
Hunter has been playing golf for the 12 years and admits that he takes pride in "Being able to beat my dad at golf since I was 12".
Hunter is shooting for a 4 year degree in Sports or Business Management from HU. In his spare time he enjoys youth group, camping and being the girls golf manager.
Achievement and awards, Scholastic Achievement from Wells Co Foundation, Bluffton Rotary Club 2018 Wells Co Scholars Dinner.
Rotary District 6540 Rotary Youth Leadership Award 2019. National Society, 1st Team all Conference Boys Golf 2018/19,2019 South Adams 27th Annual Boys Golf
invitational, 5th place. 2018 Boys Bi County golf Tournament 8th place and again in 2019 4th place.
Hunter finds inspiration with his parents, grand parents and Dustin Johnson.
One memory that stands out is during an early season practice inside the school a teammate accidentally let go of his club and broke a light bulb.
