HNHS Standout signs with Foresters

Huntington North High School senior Max Robrock signed his National Letter of Intent with Huntington University, Robrock will be continuing his academic and baseball careers as a Forester. 

Robrock, a scholar athlete, is a three-year varsity letter winner, a two-time NE8 All-Conference selection for the Viking baseball team as he enters his senior campaign.  

Planned Major or areas of study: Agribusiness/Forestry

Additional reasons that helped you decide on your college choice: I love the sport and can get a great education at the same time. I am close to home and love the community,


Robrock added, “I have had the privilege to play under Nathan Bribery and Jared Hammel who have taught me the importance and the love of baseball. I have the ability to play at the next college level, AND get a great education, its a no-brainer, in my opinion.

Top memories for school and or home.: I loved played travel baseball with my buddies, they Brough me joy, love, and a peace playing the sport that is indescribable.

Do you have a parent/mentor that gave you some advice that changed your life?

Sister, “People leave, people fail, but the love you have for yourself and others cannot change.”

Mom: “Its unwise to spend you time in a trap of comparison to others. Th key is to focus on your own unique interest and abilities; knowing who you are at the core and what YOU can do to better the community you are in."
