Cadet Major Jazzmyn Bennett has been an active member of the JROTC program for four years. Jazzmyn has recently been accepted into Ball State University where she plans to dual major in Criminal Justice and Cyber Security while attending the ROTC program. Jazzmyn’s leadership positions have included being the Vice President of the National Honors Society, primary S1 (Administrations) Staff Officer, the Female Raider Team Co-Captain for the 2023 Raider Nationals Championship, Freshman mentor, and the Platoon Leader for her assigned section for the 2023-2024 school year. She has been a proactive member on the JROTC Raider team and Cross-Country team. Awards and recognitions that Jazzmyn has received are the Academic Achievement Award, Adventure Team Ribbon, Volunteer & Senior Volunteer Ribbon, Leadership Development Service Ribbons 1- 4, Parade Ribbon Raider Cord , Recruiting Ribbon, Physical Fitness Ribbon, Varsity Athletic Ribbon, and the Raider Arc. During her four years of JROTC, Jazzmyn has completed over 160 hours of community service.
Cadet Staff Sergeant Lazarus Bertsch has been an active member of the JROTC program for four years. Lazarus has been an active three year member of the archery team and has received a Varsity Letter for archery. Post high school, he plans on going to School of Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) where he will work towards his goal of getting his M.F.A (Master of Fine Arts) for Art & Technology/Sound Practices (AT/SP). Awards and recognitions that Lazarus has received are the Volunteer & Senior Volunteer Ribbon, Leadership Development Service Ribbons 1- 4, Parade Ribbon, Color/Honor Guard Ribbon, and the Archery Arc. During his four years of JROTC, Lazarus has completed over 153 hours of community service.
Cadet 2nd Lieutenant Katie Brown has been an active member of the JROTC program for four years. She has been working in food service for four years. Post high school she plans on serving at the Huntington County Fire Department. She has served as a freshman mentor, Platoon Leader for her assigned section for the 2023-2024 school year, primary S3 (Operations) Staff Officer, and Team Captain for the Raider Bravo Team. She has earned the following awards and recognitions, Volunteer & Senior Volunteer Ribbon, Master Volunteer Ribbon, Adventure Team Ribbon, Leadership Development Ribbon, Varsity Athletic Ribbon, Service Ribbons 1- 4, Parade Ribbon, Recruiting Ribbon,Varsity Letter, Physical Fitness Ribbon, Raider Arcand Cord and Community Service Arc. She has been a proactive member on the JROTC Raider and Archery team. She has been a member of the Raider team for four years and one year on the Archery team. During her four years of JROTC, Katie has completed over 210 hours of community service.
Cadet Major Gabriel Crago has been an active member of the JROTC program for four years. Gabriel was recently accepted into Indiana Wesleyan University where he plans to major in Criminal Justice. Gabriel's leadership positions include being the Color Guard Captain for the 2023-2024 school year, he has been a proactive member of the JROTC Raider team, a primary S4 (Supply) Staff Officer, and a platoon leader for his assigned class period of the 2023-2024 school year. Awards and recognitions include the LET Service Ribbon, JROTC Physical Fitness Ribbon, Color Guard Ribbon, Adventure Training Ribbon, Parade Ribbon, Raider Arc, Color Guard Arc, and Honor Guard Arc. During his four years in JROTC, he has completed over 140 hours of community service.
