On Saturday, August 10th, 36 athletes participated in the 12th Annual Sprint Triathlon.
Athletes started the event with a 400-yard swim in the Parkview Family YMCA pool, followed by a 13 mile bike ride through Huntington County and finished strong with a 3.1 mile run through Huntington’s beautiful trails.

Our overall female winner was Kathryn Lisinicchia with a time of 1:15:15.2. The overall male winner was Mike Meredith with a time of 1:03:43.0. Team winners were Phil Engle, Swim time 7:39.3; Tim Landrum, Bike time 34:43.7 and Cody Hannie, Run time 21:37.1. Total team time 1.04.54.9. Other winners at the Sprint were: Riley Meredith 1:16:38.4 – Female 19 and under; Teddy McComb 1:12:48.0 – Male 19 and under; Rachel Anderson 1:17:46.9 – Female 20 to 29; Jared Hill 1:04:57.4 – Male 20 to 29; Monica Graves 1:25:24.4 – Female 30 to 39; Todd Rupp 1:05:01.2 – Male 30 to 39; Angel Heyerly 1:29:48.2 – Female 40 to 49; Jared Heyerly 1:16:33.4 – Male 40 to 49; Kay Schwob 1:24:01.9 – Female 50 to 59; Craig Mickey 1:11:52.8 – Male 50 to 59.
