Onna Marie Doering is serving in the Army National Guard, 1st Lieutenant, Medical Platoon Leader and Medical Operations for the 638th Aviation Support Battalion She served her
basic training at Fort Sill, OK and is married to Kyle Obrochta her parents are Rick Doering and Robin Sneed
Onna is a from Huntington In and a 2013 graduate of Huntington North High School she attended Indiana University, Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI) with a degree from IUPUI.
Onna has been deployed to Kuwait and Iraq in support of Operation Spartan Shield and Operation Inherent Resolve 2019-2020.
She is currently Stationed/serving in the Indiana Army National Guard, Lafayette, IN
“I will continue serving in the Indiana Army National Guard” Onna says “for the military and continue working on my Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at IUPUI in hopes to design prosthetics in the future.
Hobbies/Interest:
Cross Fit, Running, spending time with friends, and fixing or re purposing things that are broken.
I am inspired by my sister Taryn her path has not ever been the easiest, but she has remained resilient through all of life’s
challenges. I have never known her to back down from anything she has set her mind to. She is courageous, strong-willed, and the most passionate person I have ever met. When she cares about something, she pours her heart out into it. The dedication she has to her dreams is
unmatched. She is truly my best friend in life, and I am honored to have such an amazing human for a sister.
